That was kinda depressing....

I think I am becoming too cynical in my old age. As if I wasn't old enough, I am going to be even older in 17 days. Ugh, where has all the time gone ( Read more... )

Are you not teaching 4th grade next year? Just band and choir? As you can tell, we definitely need to catch up.

I will still be teaching 4th grade....but that will include 4th Choir, 4th classroom music, 6-8th choir, 5th Band, and I would love 5th choir also. I might be a glutton for punishment, but oh well. I'd love to have 6-8th band also, but that would require the junior high teachers to get the sticks out of their arse, which I don't see happening anytime soon.

Miah, Lizzie B, Franz, and I are going to hunt you down and attack you with a lot of brass. You're gonna pay! :-P

j/k, of course. It would take a woodwind player to know exactly which buttons to push on *all* of her brass playing friends. :-)

Hmmm....I had forgotten I was outnumbered.

I just don't want those dear darling innocent children to become one of "those" brass players. Actually, I'd just have a problem with them becoming one of "those" trombone players. They are only 9 years old....I don't want them to get messed up too soon. ;)

Besides, you can't tell me, Jon, that you wouldn't become giddy happy at the mere thought of an entire room of young, budding trombonists eager for you to share your musical prowess with them. Yep, that's what I thought. :)

Like there is such a thing as a messed up trombone player :-)

You're right, of course, and I'm proud of you! You make some good sax players! :-)
