Got back from whitewater rafting with Megan yesterday. Had a grand old time, although it may be days before I am able to walk correctly again. Getting up Sunday morning was the most painful experience of my life. I am really glad that I went. It was so beautiful out there (southern PA) and it was good spending time with Kim and her husband

so i used to hate growing up in grosse pointe because of all the fucking familes everywhere. i wanted to be somewhere where the institution of the Family wasn't so important, like a big city, where at least people weren't so public about their families... they weren't always at the store with screaming addled kids, or allowing obnoxious children to run rampant in the streets while you're trying to drive... or trying to run them over, whatever... and when i got to college and people wanted to do things like family minsitry, i was like, ahh, you physco mofos.

but you're right - the problem is all in parents who are too numb to actually get the importance of what the hell they're doing... so i see our society heading in a truly great direction. (sarcastic, by the way, maybe i'll have to pull a thomas and record voice posts so all my idiocentricities can be properly enuciated).

luckily all those mofo kids can get strep throat and develop tourettes syndrome, right? hehehe.
