Grrr....A Rant and Some Other Things....

Well today I finally took the Philosophy mid-term that's been stressing me out all week. Luckily I studied the shit out of it so I feel pretty confident about it. Unfortunately(sort-of) I have a paper due in the same class this coming Tuesday. Luckily it's already written for the most part I just need to rewrite it and spruce it up a bit. The topic ( Read more... )

Hmmm, you got a message on myspace from someone you haven't talked to in a while, I got one from Ryan's cousin Frank the other day, asking if I ever talk to Ryan any more.

Anyhow, I tried to add you as a friend on myspace (searched using your e-mail address), so you'd better accept it! Or Else! =)

Hehe, ok so I think I figured out how to accept a friends request on My-Space but I'm retarted and probably did it wrong=). Anyway.

How long has it been since you talked to Frank last anyway? Actually have you really even spoken to Ryan since he's been back? I have acouple of times, but I haven't actively pursued hanging out. Levi and Scotty wanted you two to start hanging out again so we could get together like we used to but I warned them that that probably wasn't a good idea at all (this was awhile ago).

So anyway=)

I saw Ryan at Target a few months ago and he said, "Hey Joe" so I said "Hi" and kept walking. That's it. The last time I *really* talked to him was probably 3 years ago.

And yeah, Scotty said something to me a while back about hanging out with Ryan again, and I said no. I don't want to hang out with Ryan, I don't want to talk to Ryan, and I don't even particularly care to *see* him, even from a distance.

Oh yeah, I had a girl in my Psychology class that firmly believed that the earth was no more than 6000 years old, that no species had ever gone extinct (every species that has ever lived is still living today), and that the world was literally created in 7 days (168 modern hours).

She couldn't explain the existence of dinosaurs or early humans.

Well, I agree that the world isn't nearly as old as is currently accepted. Based upon the average increase in water from meteors entering the atmosphere, the earth would be completely covered in water by now if it was 6.x billion years old. Also carbon dating is fairly inaccurate. You can't trust a system that is only accurate between certain time periods. 6000 years could be accurate, but unlikely.

But yeah, closed minded individuals keep society from progressing to the next evolutionary step with their denials of scientific theory and fact. Stem cell research, cloning, computer assisted bio tech, etc.

Well I wouldn't completely deny it, but I would say I'm FAR from believing it=)

I think I saw you today at school but my boyfriend was leaving and I didn't get a chance to say hi so "Hi!"
