I remember having this conversation with Kara, once. About Cylons having souls. She said, you don't have a soul, you have software. She doesn't believe--or didn't, at the time--that I was anything more than a machine. I trust she has learned, since then, how easily I do in fact bleed. That I am as much a man as anything else

There is no reason to be so angry at me. Have I not offered myself to you since the moment we met? You know that I am here, waiting, and you know precisely what I want and where I stand. I am not lying to you, I am not demanding that you suffer for me, I am not abandoning you.

Can you see the trueness of my love for you, just in that alone?

I never thought any of this would be easy, Kara. Not from the moment I met you, so determined and angry and brave.

But it will make it all so much more worth it in the end.
