I love the idea of Smith and his daughter stargazing together. And that while Rose's teachers tell her the facts of the stars, it is Smith that tells her their stories.

I have a feeling that Smith will make a telescope, and that Kurdy, while maybe not a constellation, will have many stories told of him.

I agree with belleferret about Mister Smith being the one to tell the stories of the stars vs the cold facts. That's cool and very him.

And I think Kurdy should have a constellation! It would need to be very large, spread out and impressive-with several lines of stars indicating his dreadlocks. :D

It's so nice to see a new Mr. Smith story - and what a wonderful one.

I always like the Smith/Rose stories - it's wonderful to see them having a few calm moments together. So much needed in a world like theirs.
