“But you’d be perfect,” insisted Sulu. “The part was practically written for you.”
McCoy arched an eyebrow. “It was written over 300 years ago. Are you implying that I’m old, Mister Sulu?”
“Of course not,” said Uhura, her dark eyes bright with amusement. “He means that the character was written with wit and wisdom. It’s you to a tee.”
“It’s based on an old earth hero,” said Sulu helpfully. “You’d be a great Dr. Franklin.”
“Is Spock in it?”
“He’s playing Jefferson.”
“As if,” snorted McCoy. Still, he couldn’t let the Vulcan upstage him. “Alright. I’m in.”
