Thank goodness I can now truthfully call myself an avant garde college student.

I've been sitting at my computer just about straight from 6:30 trying to write this paper on something about Ovid's "Pyramus and Thisbe" and the Catullus 64 ecphrasis on Theseus and Ariadne, and this is all I've produced ( Read more... )

I stayed up all night to write three papers and finished one. I took a shower in the morning only because it seems very, very late to me. I am going to drive to school in a few minutes. My chest hurts because I ate a lot of ice cream last night without taking any Lactaid pills. Usually ice cream is not a problem. My hair is nice and soft and sweet-

I burned the back of my hand washing dishes, and it's all red.
I burned my neck napping on the front lawn, and I have white necklace lines.

"I'm picking up some Chinese. You want anything?"

"Sure, just get me some vegetable fried rice."

"A pint?"

"No, I want two quarts. And a straw."

My art teacher gave me a form today to fill out as part of a submission of a piece I did earlier this year to this local high school student black-and-white art calendar some shit. Part of the form gave me four lines in which to write my personal statement about what I believe art to be, as well as any future plans. I decided to be professional ( Read more... )
