Two books, one title

Are you aware that the title of your new novel is the same as another novel published February 2010?

Not only that, when I told him I would not be responding to future emails from him, he started sending me a bunch more emails basically insulting every YA writer out there, hoping to spur me on. You can't fix stupid. I don't even know why I bothered to try.

I need to check that on Amazon. I think there's another book with that title, and the author of it might think you very unprofessional.

The only time I've ever had a problem when two books had the same title was when I was in elementary school or maybe junior high. I had left the book I was supposed to read at school. So I told my mother the title of it and she went out and bought "the book" but it turns out that another book had the same title and she bought the wrong book.

But I've seen tons of books with the same title over the years. Even popular books. How many books are there with the title Twilight? Look on Amazon and I see at least 5 or 6.

Yes! The only time I was very nervous about my book being titled the same as another book out there was when I found out Jerry Sandusky's memoir was ALSO called TOUCHED. I was afraid mothers would buy it for their kids!
