It's a sad day

Knowing that someone you have known practically all of your life is now in the next. He has been gone for two months now, and I just found out.

I know I was never as good a friend as I should have been. I'm sorry for that.

I'm so sorry that you had to find out that way. I had no idea that you knew Pat. Otherwise I would have told you. Since his passing I've found he knew a hell of a lot more people than I originally thought =)

And don't sell yourself short. I'm sure he appreciated every moment having you as a friend.

*hugs* Yeah, I haven't talked to him since high school. I swear I saw him recently, but didn't talk to him...but my recently is much too recent and I know that can't be.

I appreciated him as a friend in one of the strangest ways possible, but it was there.

Did I tell you I had talked to him the day before he passed away? I was at work working on reports so I didn't have a chance to say anymore than "Sorry, can't talk, it's reports day" =( I now wish I had taken the time to talk with him. If I had known that the next day would have been his last day on this earth I would have talked with him for as long as it took. It was always enjoyable chatting with him online. Since he lived in Tallahassee it was our way of communicating. Feel special in knowing that you knew him longer than I. I wish I could have known him much better than I did.

*hugs* Thank you. It has been a hectic couple of weeks. I'm feeling pressure and I now have 2 weeks to write a fic in that I'm completely scrapping and starting all over with.

ugh...no time to do anything and school starts tomorrow! Am I ready to send her back to school? HA! right...yeah...I need at least another week off with her and the not having to have her somewhere before 8 in the morning.
