I know you basically said this anyway, but I temped at Terminix in NoVA and it is an awful, awful company there. Use some small local company with people who actually talk to you and you call the same people who spray your lawn. At Terminix they have call centers in Tennessee that handle Virginia and the dispatchers are totally out of touch with the reality of scheduled bug devastation.

Also, don't be the people who think that pesticides are safe or something. Yeah, Terminix was awful, but in NoVA there seem to be a lot of people who think that stuff that kills termites can't be much worse than, say, rotgut vodka. Toxicity-wise, you know.
