Roland Emmerich... where have I heard that name before? Oh yeah, he's the one who gave us Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow and most importantly, Godzilla. What do those three films have in common? They were all spectacularly awful films that were preceded by really impressive ad campaigns. Remember the White House blowing up? Remember "his foot is as big as this bus"? Roland should stop making movies and stick to what he does best: promotion.

Yes, it's funny that...disaster all around. Incidentally the "real" ad campaigns made the movie look terrible. So. bad. I mean, come on... John Cusack outrunning an earthquake in a limo... really? and then asteroids in a RV? they really decided to do that? I am sure if anyone tries to watch the movie hoping for anything better than Godzilla will likely be sorely disappointed
