hey, now here's a question for everyone i'd like to hear the answers to:

if you could see any two fictional characters (e.g: comic book/ video game/ anime/ tv/ movie) fight, which would they be and who would you project to win?

i'm just curious and bored.

obviously, i'm positively giddy about the prospect of a superman v batman movie based on the todd mcfarlane 80s comic.

but, hm, let me see....... well, the whole matrix thing made me realize how cool a DBZ fight could be if realized in motion... i mean, if they get the look down, there's some real special effects blowing away potential there.

so many good ones though.... venom v doctor doom could be really crazy, or carnage v superman

ok, here's one: goku v superman. that would be crazy. in the end, my money's on... yeesh... which alien come to earth would win?
after 2 rounds, and the gloves are off... well, i'm gonna go with superman. when he gets angry and goes dark side.... don't mess.

heh, those are all GREAT!!! and yeah, ditto on the supes v. bats movie, and the prospect of a great-looking dbz film. i agree that darkside superman is (as an understatement) a force to be reckoned with, but like, if he kills goku, he just trains in the next dimension, comes back 10 times stronger and kills superman. then superman would revive and the world would be left guessing btwn 4 super-entities again, and he'd come back b/c dc couldn't stand to lose all those profit margins, and.....GEESH!! i think this is another "nobody wins" scenario. it'd be GREAT to watch though! ^_^

Dream vs. Freddy Krueger.

I just said that to be silly actually.

Do you ever ask these questions in like, question communities? It might be fun to see answers other people, besides friends, give. Just a thought.

I really can't think of anything for this...if I get an inspiration, I'll let you know.

yeah it might be interesting, but then i stop and ask myself, do i really CARE what other people think? nah. i just wanna hear what my friends have to say. thanks for the thought though. and y'know, for bein silly, that's a damn good idea. my gut instinct is to say dream would win, but dream isn't really as savagely gorey as freddy. i think, if anything, it would be another freddy vs. jason scenario where neither one of them could "win" b/c they're both immortal. but it'd be fun to watch. freddy gets cursed to eternal waking (that'd be where morpheus would take the win i think).

Well, theoretically, if you really think about it, Freddy would just be a creation of Dream's, now wouldn't he? Dream could just, like, unmake him at any time.

I would just love to see another fight like the one that Dream had with the Demon to get his helm back. That was too cool.

yeah, but i doubt freddy would be smart enough to pull it off. i mean, sure, he's inventive enough, and he could turn into all those things, but i don't think he'd be smart enough to counter dream's strategies. and i agree, morpheus could just unmake freddy. good call.

in a dream world i wouldnt mind seeing like i would say batman v. captian america. i know its been done but the fight wasnt finished, or batman v. solid snake, that would just be an interesting fight, minus the fact that solid has a mullet, tho the new game looks pretty cool. In the end tho i would have to vote for batman to win, just because of the cool toys.

right, i mean, bats just wins. it's the rule. and i dunno man, i'm not a huge cap fan anyways. i think bats would mop the floor w/ him, but that's just me.

im not a HUGE cap fan either, but it would be a good fight, cuz when you break it down, they are basically normal guys, minus the fact that cap has his sheild, and well bats has the batarangs??? but like they tried it like when DC v. Marvel, and like the fight never got concluded, i just would like to see what could have been, also on my list is spider-man v. hulk pre-wolverine castration. just cuz its such a drastic contrast in styles, you have the hulk who is bulky, strong ans slow, opposed to spider-man who is the exact oppisite

BINGO! someone has hit my all time dream fight!!! hulk vs. spidey. i would be SOOOO geeked. b/c really, neither one would win, but it would look fantastic. spidey could dodge what hulk throws at him, and hulk could take everything spidey hit him with. it's just a matter of one of them getting tired and slipping. and as much as i hate to admit it, spidey would tire before hulk b/c hulk doesn't tire out. but spidey might be smart enough to calm hulk down by going and fetching betty or something like that. then it's all over, so it could go either way.

and, fyi, cap has powers. invulnerability, enhanced strength and speed. and perfect aim with that shield (yeah, that's a power). so, technically, cap would have the advantage, but i still think bats'd beat him.
