When I said 'winter coat', I meant my Cleveland winter coat, which is just a heavy leather jacket. This is certainly much heavier than the hooded sweatshirt / unzipped fleece combination I usually wear, but it's not a real winter coat. My real winter coat is in a closet in my parent's house.
