Back from Portland
Had a lovely time. Ate a lot of good food. Drank a lot of good alcohol. Viewed a number of pretty places. Got married. Saw many friends, some who I hadn't seen in a long time and some who I see all the time. Saw bats.
My only disappointment thus far? We didn't get any funny wedding cards. Dr. Roth got us a card with a very funny-cute visual on the front, but that it was more adorable than funny. Clearly, the funny wedding card market has room for growth.
A smaller disappointment was that nobody wore funny t-shirts to the reception under their dress clothes. On the bright side, darlox did look fabulous with his green fishnets. Almost as good as the pedal-cab driver in his blue dress and green wig.
It was great to see so many of you. And we'll definitely be going back to Portland sooner rather than later.
