I've Got Gas

Not even two weeks ago the gas prices were at 2.49/gallon in Lakewood. Now they're down to 2.12/gallon, and that's still way more expensive than Westlake, where the Shell & BP stations by my office was at 1.97/gallon this morning. I keep a log of the gas I've purchased in the car, and that's the cheapest it's been since December 2006

$1.91 at the Columbia/Detroit BP!

(I bought my premium yesterday for $2.17, and was ridiculously excited about that.)

$2.06 right next store to me. Am driving to Chicago for Turkey Day. Suddenly a $60-80 roundtrip (I love my little car) will be $40-50. Waa-hoo.

I am desperately trying to drain my tank of its expensive $2.39 gas before I drive to PA Sunday.

(yes, I understand the illogic of that, but it's psychological!)

$3.19 in Anchorage. Still higher than the price one year ago. Thank goodness I have a 5 minute drive to work.
