Do elliptical, bike machine, or swimming for cardio - might as well keep it up and it will be easier on the knees.

The blood pressure was effectively unchanged. Since they test it every time I give blood I have a good baseline on that, and it's fine.

I was most hoping for the blood sugar to drop out of the pre-diabetic range. In addition to all the exercise, I rather dramatically reduced my candy intake (e.g, M&Ms every work day to M&Ms once every other week) which was the primary source of sugar in my diet. Now granted, cardio isn't as effective for burning sugar as weight lifting, but I lost seven pounds - I clearly altered the calorie equation in my favor, but there was effectively no difference in the blood sugar level.
