My
streak of new-to-me restaurants continues. I hit up Los Habaneros with my cousin on May 25. As the name implies it was Mexican cuisine. It seemed pretty authentic to me; the menu was very similar to a local favorite in Phoenix, the waiters didn't really know English, and the
chile relleno was excellent.
Perhaps more excitingly, last Saturday DrI and I went to Lolita. We had a very enjoyable meal. The prosciutto sampler was delicious, I will attempt to recreate the anchovy and walnut Brussels Sprouts at home and the steak was excellent. With that said, was it noticeably better any other reasonably upscale place? I'd have to say no. It's definitely a step behind Crave and Greenhouse Tavern in my mind. In other words, I'll go again, but it's not a rush.
It was time to update the
list of Cleveland places I want to eat. So I did. Here they are in no particular order.
EDITED: Now in a useful order, with new ones added since my original post.
