I finally took the plunge and joined in on Ed's season ticket package for the Indians. I've sat in Ed's seats behind home plate on several occasions. The view is fantastic, it's out of the rain, and several good concession stands are an easy walk away, including Your Dad's Beer, which has the cheapest booze in the ballpark. Putting all this together, it was an easy decision to buy in.
Ed coordinates the purchase of two tickets for a full 81 game home slate and then splits it up to people who buy both tickets for 5 or 10 games. I'm in for 5 games, which means I'll likely have some +1s next season. Even better, the tickets come pre-loaded with concessions. All of this comes at a very reasonable rate. The only downside is that as the newest person to join the group I am dead last in the draft order. Fortunately, nobody else will want the tickets for the A's games either :-0
Yeah, the Indians aren't the A's, but addicts have to use methadone when H isn't available. And now I have another reason to look forward to 2014.
