Eating Out Eleven - Between BWCA and Europe
Now that my Europe posts are done, I intend to finish off my incomplete 2015 restaurant summary.
121. Tuesday, July 7 - Chipotle in Fairview Park. I bought the gaming group burritos.
122. Wednesday, July 8 - Work Bistro. My notes indicate that I had a crock pot failure and therefore did not have leftovers to bring for lunch. I can't recall having had a crock pot failure, so I wish I remembered what happened!
123. Friday, July 10 - Jacob's Field. Shari & I did baseball. I don't recall what I ate.
124. Saturday, July 11 - Big Egg. Dashon was in town to perform with the Orchestra, so I took him out for breakast. In college Big Egg was a late night dive diner. Then it closed, allegedly for health code violations. Then it reopened, and this was my first return trip. It's now a boring average breakfast diner.
125. Saturday, July 11 - Dynomite Burgers. I was downtown for JazzFest to see Cyrille Aimee. Between shows, I grabbed a shake at Dynomite. It was ok. Then I headed to Blossom to watch Dashon with the orchestra.
126. Thursday, July 16 - Grog Shop. I went to see Ex Hex and had beer.
127. Friday, July 17 - China House. I got Chinese food with the team at work.
128. Saturday, July 18 - Rustic. M wanted to try this place out for lunch. It was ok, nothing special.
129. Sunday, July 19 - Bar Simon Crocker Park. M and I had dinner at Bar Simon before seeing Trainwreck. I'd been there before years previously and wasn't impressed. The return engagement didn't change that.
130. Monday, July 20 - Work Bistro. I can't tell you why I had to buy lunch at work that day. Such are the perils of doing this list a year later than intended.
131. Tuesday, July 21 - Joe's - For his turn in the gaming dinner rotation, theferrett bought us takeout from Joes. I don't recall what I had, but the portions were huge.
132. Friday, July 24 - Menchies - My then manager took his reports out for frozen yogurt, probably to celebrate the birthdays for the month.
133. Friday, July 24 - Deagan's - M and I went for dinner. At this point we were sufficiently regulars that the bartender recognized us and asked M if she wanted her usual beer. According to my notes, I had carpaccio.
134. Saturday, July 25 - Namaste Indian Garden - It was Tulip's birthday, so her fairy godmother Kendra picked up takeout and came over to visit.
135. Tuesday, July 28 - Panini's Bar & Grill - Another night of ultimate, another night at Panini's.
136. Friday, July 31 - Bubba's Q - gieves and darlox and I had BBQ out in Avon. It was acceptable, but not great.
137. Friday, August 7 - China House - I was clearing out my fridge prior to going to Europe, so on my last day of work before my sabbatical I had takeout with the team.
138. Friday, August 7 - Deagan's - M took me out for dinner for my last night in town.
139. Saturday, August 8 - Einstein's - M and I bought breakfast and then ate in a park in Rocky River overlooking the lake (specifically, Bradstreet's Landing) before she took me to the airport for my flight to Europe.
