My (Lack of) Schedule for the 44th Cleveland International Film Festival

So I don't normally talk much about current events here, but sometimes they intrude themselves against my wishes. That is very much the case here. Typically my yearly post would be an assortment of movies that I had tickets to and a few that I was considering buying. However, this year the post is an empty list, because the Coronavirus Pandemic has caused most major events to be cancelled, including the 44th CIFF.

This CIFF was going to be the last one held primarily at Tower City, as they are moving to Playhouse Square next year. With that, it's frankly hard to tell when I'd ever return to Tower City, given that I've found effective ways to easily park for baseball. I presume it would take another championship  parade.

CIFF is not alone in cancellations, with colleges sending students home to take online classes, elementary and high schools closing for three weeks, the NBA suspended, MLB postponed and all manner of concerts and theater shutting down. Even the venerable Art Museum has closed its doors temporarily. It's a weird time to be alive, but then isn't it always?
