No Day But Today

RENT was awesome. Went Tuesday night with Nate Jacobsen, who had never seen it. Good seats on the floor, just about dead center. It was a little odd having a fairly short person play Joanne - normally she's really tall which counterpoints well with a short Maureen. And Roger was too "Roger Daltrey Pretty Boy" to suit me - the best Roger I saw was a late 70s punk type sans piercings/mohawk. Angel was fairly unattractive, which is the first time that's happened. Still made me cry a little when she died though, although it's no longer the flood gates I experienced the first 3 or 4 times I saw it. At intermission the high school girls in front of me were excitedly talking about how many times they'd seen it. When I laughed they apologized for making noise, but I grinned and pointed out that I'd seen more any of them (8 times).

Today was productive. I'm programming a brand spanking new ActiveX control and I made very significant progress today - lots of CImageLists and related image related work. I stayed at work late, not because I had to but because I was having a good time. How cool is that?

I've now been to the gym 4 days in a row for either 30 minutes on the bike or a full workout (weights + bike). I think hitting 230 pounds for the first time in my life freaked me out slightly, even if I'm still a sexy bitch :-)

See you all at Eddie From Ohio Friday, I hope!
