We stared with
Ontario.
Quebec would be second if we went by order of precedence, but it turns out that to the best of my knowledge Quebec is one of two provinces I have never set foot in, so we'll skip ahead to
Nova Scotia on the far eastern coast.
I've spent two nights in Nova Scotia. I have actually have journal entries for both because those two nights bracketed the trip M and I took to
Prince Edward Island in 2019. This is helpful for historical accuracy but somewhat boring for purposes of summation.
Tuesday, September 17, 2019 - We
landed in Halifax, wandered the waterfront and had
dinner there. After a bit of other sightseeing in the area, we headed northeast to Caribou for the night. We'd take the ferry to PEI the next day.
Monday, September 23, 2019 - We drove back into
Halifax via New Brunswick (spoilers!), had
dinner on the waterfront again and slept at the hotel near the airport.
Halifax was lovely, and I'd certainly go back. If we did return, I'd like to get out to
Cape Breton, which we weren't particularly close to on our trip. I'd also like to stop at the
Bay of Fundy, which we drove near but did not see.
