Streak of not eating inside a restaurant - 812 days and counting (+12)
My new Recipes for the Year: 66 (+2)
M's new Recipes for the Year 15 (+0)

Between travel and focusing on old favorites, we only made two new recipes this time around. Also, I'm not counting having ice cream cones at the ballgame as "eating inside a restaurant." Feel free to argue that if you like, but as always, if you don't like how I keep the stats, feel free to keep them yourself!

So our two new recipes this time around both came from the internet.

- We used some Pacific Cod to make taco-spiced cod tostadas, because fish tacos are always good. The oven method they describe here to toast the taco shells actually made them overly dark, even though I cranked down the time substantially from what the recipe called for. More experimentation is necessary there, because it's always a bit of a pain to toast the tortillas in a pan over the stove. Otherwise, this meal provided perfectly adequate fish tacos. We used a package of taco spice, but the resulting fish wasn't particularly crispy. I don't think we'll use this one again.

- Quite some time ago someone on Facebook reposted Instant Pot Lemon Garlic Chicken Recipe. I made it for dinner the night after we returned from Columbus since I had all the needed ingredients on hand without requiring a trip to the grocery store. It was perfectly adequate but nothing special, which is kind of a bummer for how long ago I'd saved it. On the plus side, unlike some Instant Pot recipes, it was actually as advertised in that after a bit of prep I threw it all in the Instant Pot and walked away, so that's a plus.

And that's all. Through June 4 of 2021, I was at 61 new recipes, so I'm slightly ahead of that pace. Throw in M's new recipes, and we're crushing it.
