Given how poorly my
2022 resolutions went, I was tempted to bury them down the memory hole. How badly did they go? I barely remembered I had made them, which is one reason that this summary is only coming up in 2023 instead of my more usual
late in the target year.
Use the Phone Less
Well, the number didn't go up much, but it sure didn't go down very much either. I will say that I'm very good at not looking at the phone when I'm not in my house. The problem is that I'm usually in my house.
Text Questions, Not Statements
This might have been phrased as "listen more than talk," which I'm good at in person but not great at via text. Since I forgot about it altogether, it hardly mattered.
Eat More Slowly
The GI problems discussed in my original summary have been diagnosed and are being treated, which probably deserves its own post. Eating more slowly did in fact help some, but I don't have good enough data to call this a success.
I'm not going to make any 2023 resolutions at this late date. It can't hurt to take a year off. Ok, two years off.
