Quick Hits
1. Sin City was absolutely amazing. You really need to see this movie if you are a big fan of Kill Bill, or if you really liked the graphic novels, or you really like comics in general, or if you just really like your violence and sex displayed in a stylish manner.
2. Saw the Star Wars trailer before Sin City, and as my coworker Rob put it "My faith in George Lucas has been restored. Lord, I believe! I believe! Pass me the red kool-aid! Hallelujah!" Ok, so I still think it will probably suck, but I feel more optimistic now.
3. Wanda Jackson at the Winchester last night was fun, not great. Went with Jen Watson. Apparently someone has her 40th birthday party, and brought in Wanda for entertainment. It was sold out when we got there, but I talked us past the door. Lots of Cramps fans present, including my friend/coworker Faith - Wanda did some songs with Lux and Ivy on her last album.
