Telethon went ok. amy_trixie & I pulled in $530, but more than half of that was me & my parents. I did snag donations from four listeners, which is OK. Not as good as last year though, we cleared $715 that time, but on the other hand the entire telethon seems to be doing a little less well so it was not just me.
Went saw the Dresden Dolls with pussygalore66 and her friend Barbara. They are a drummer out of Boston who are getting some good publicity because they were opening for Trent Reznor in Europe, which is probably why they filled the House of Blues when last year they barely filled the Grog. They were really quite good. Clever lyrics, fantastic showmanship and one phenomenal drummer. Fun stuff.
