For the third  year in a row I spent more than a week in the Pacific Time Zone. M enjoys birding, so this past weekend we took Friday off and drove west to the area around Port Clinton to do some birding and general touristing.

So in 2009, for the first time ever, I did not use all of my vacation days. xhollydayx, Tulip and I were in Chicago last Thursday through Sunday. We stayed with my fraternity brother Wayne and his wife Jen. They have a condo about 5 blocks away from Wrigley Field. It's really weird and quite enjoyable not being woken up by either an alarm clock or my dog. I spent most of today eating my mom's food (more than makes up for missing Supper Club), drinking ice tea, and generally relaxing.
