So I've got it pretty narrowed down to Emerson, SUNY Purchase and SMU.  I haven't gotten into any yet, but the tech director guy pretty much offered me a spot and I should be finding out about emerson this week or next.  So essentially it's a close choice between emerson and SMU.  I would be trading the southern, methodist part for the fact that it

If by Emerson, you mean SMU.

but seriously, in the SMU technical program, you would essentially be getting graduate level training in your undergrad since the program is so new. Also, there are only 2 other technical majors in our undergrad program to my knowledge, so that would be a helluva lot of personal attention. Ultimately, you should probably visit both schools and see what fits
