Do you mean 35-hour work week?

I actually appreciate our two-party system in this situation, at least, because every vote right now that goes to Nadar is a vote that isn't going to Kerry, who may have worse stands on the issues, but actually has a chance of winning.

Oh, and I was looking at the website of a U.S. Socialist organization, and it really pissed me off that they kept saying, "WE ARE NOT A REFORM PARTY!" I just think that's a really naive thing to say because there is no way in hell the government's just going to say, "Oh, okay, let's be Socialist now and change the entire infrastructure of out government on a whim." The only way we're ever going to get there is by passing legislation, bit by bit, that changes our economy and our society.

the two party system blows... democracy doesn't mean choosing the better of two evils, in my opinion. the only way that the two-party system can be sucessful is if there are opposing parties- but as far as legislation being passed, the republican party is conservative, and the democratic party is moderate. quoth kerry: "i am a moderate."

see? i didn't make it up.

kerry says he's going to continue the "war on terror" and that he's going to keep troops in iraq. that's such a huge difference that i just want to vomit.

kerry... pfft.
