Sorry to be flooding your f'lists, but I've got an urge to be productive that's not really finding its way into any good projects offline, so a post here and there helps a little bit.

Angie would be proud of my dinner tonight (well, mostly).  Sashimi, red miso soup, and rice.  It was deeeee~lish.

The 3-nensei are finished with classes, which leaves my Monday completely free. The only thing I was asked to do was correct papers. For their winter homework, they had to report on books they read, movies they saw, or do diary entries on whatever interested them. Under their essays, they had the option of drawing pictures for extra points.

A break from the angst and drama, just because I've been listening to this song on repeat, and Miyavi has grown on me a lot since... who introduced him to me originally?  Steph?  That was like ten years ago.  x_x Jeez.

Anyway, Miyavi's music is great.  I've come a long way since my early teenage years of listening to nothing but candy pop, huh?

It just hit me that that's about as long as I have to find a way to stay in Japan.

I absolutely cannot allow myself to renew my JET contract for a year because I can't find an alternative.  I can't.  I keep reminding myself that I should return home and then find work from there (as difficult/near impossible) as that may be before tying myself down ( Read more... )
