BAH! he did you a favour by being an asshole..why? because you have a frame of reference of what an actual asshole is vs what you want in a guy. Granted, they come in all shapes and sizes..and they have their damnable quirks, the lack of respect is not desirable under any circumstances.
His loss..don't be too surprised that within the next six to eight months something magical happens (grins) I see someone else? yahhhh..by the by?..working on yourself without judgement, without critical treatment of yourself, treating yourself gently and with compassion will do more to heal your spirit than all the self help books put together.

I've had my fair share of assholes and jerks. But this one takes the cake (though I admit Mr. Love, the Supreme Asshole I dated 4 or so years ago has to be the funniest with how stupid he was) when it came to how often and how much he disrespected me. No idea, opinion, belief I had was logically sound enough to be "ok." I always felt like I was on the defensive for my beliefs... And that is just fucked up. It's not like I made him prove his god to me, much less brought him to question for all the sins he casually forgets he makes
