I know exactly how you feel.. but in my case my ex was degrading and belittled me left and right.

I've felt caught up in shit headed exes "after the fact." But I was never close enough to them to really miss/care about them after they were gone. It really sucks that someone you spent so much time and you cared about left such a negative impression. Sometimes I wonder what people think when they are dumping people; obviously it's not to retain any semblance of honor.

Cold, with no emotions. Just a clear understandaing that what's happening is for the best. Or someting else that's more disturbing, like revenge, (a dish best served cold).

A complete absence of love of compassion. I was on the receiving end.
