I have stopped fantasizing about staying here for the summer and am beginning to actually consider the possibility. Hthinks she might be able to get me a job at the vet clinic that randomly made her a tech, and my mental health may indeed be worth $333--$400 a month

And just like that, you reframe yourself completely. I really do wish that we could just be frank and compare notes on our whole Deal over tea or something.
Rent plus water is usually $333. A monthly trans pass, should I choose to get one instead of biking everywhere, is $70. There's gas in there, too. I get $136 a week from CY after taxes. Bah. I wish I knew what to do. It would be a lot more clear if J and C (aka my housemates, my brother and sister I would defend with my fingernails if that was all I had left) weren't going back to St. Louis, but they are...maybe I should just find an apartment in FoCo or something.
