This is a sigh of relief

So I've been meaning to make this post for about four weeks now. Which I suppose would have made it a lie at the time...

But it's been a hellishly busy last month and a half, what with the end of the fall semester and the associated papers, projects, and presentations that I of course leave to the last minute, because I'm a lazy sod like that. And then of course four exams and this funny little thing called a 'take home exam' - apparently they're all the rage in the Faculty of Humanities. Like I'm ever taking one of those classes again.

Combine that with starting a new part time job - what a great time of year, right? - and I've been a bit busy. But everything seems to be sliding back to normal (not counting the number of hours I have to work next week :|).

Fannish things have been a little on hold recently, as you can likely imagine. That Primeval sex pollen bit (I've only mentioned that one a dozen or so times, right?) is still sitting on the 'edit repeatedly for the foreseeable future' pile. Near the top, though. Er, nearish.

Also my shiny new fandom of Grimm has taken a bit of a licking due to the fact that I haven't been able to keep up to date. But the fic in this fandom is seriously unreal.

And then of course there's that whole LJ Release 88 thing. Yes, the new comment pages suck balls, and the loss of comment subject lines screws over kink memes in a way that is totally not funny (ha). But what I hate the most is the loss of Verdana on my posts. (That's not just me, right?) I seriously love Verdana, and this new Arial is just so... distasteful.

Oh well. This is what greasemonkey's for, I guess.

primeval, fandom is awesome, complaininate!, stoopid questions, grimm, geekyness, rl, talkin' bout fic, internet madness, school
