1. Over at La Maison cynicalsnark, aside from my continued search for employment, and/or volunteer employment just to get me out of the house more, we've been preparing for an influx of guests. My father's birthday always coincides with Father's Day (Lucky for me since then I only buy one present), and he's having a party with his friends. Awkward for me ( ( Read more... )

UGH. Your entry just reminded me that I applied for jobs at Wonderland and I'm so depressed rn that they took off the job ads already. Idk if this is because they already hired people or because they received too many applications. This is just depressing. WHY IS NO ONE HIRING this summer, ughhh. I've sent out dozens and dozens of applications since December and I've like 3 interviews.

BUT ANYWAY. That is so exciting. I last went to Wonderland last year so I kinda remember how things are like. How come you guys got free food? :O Were they giving out free food because of the storm or something? I wanted to try Behemoth but seeing that big drop at the very beginning of the ride... Yeah, no thanks. >___>"

Oh, by the way, TIFF is hiring volunteers for their festival this year. Applications are open already :D

Dude, it's all the more depressing the more interviews you have (I would know >_>) because it gives you HOPE dammit. IDK there's a bunch of people working there already, but you never know, you can keep checking back. I'm willing to work ANYWHERE at this point. So sick of it.

We got free food because the girl in the wheelchair got the tickets because it was her father's company's picnic--so we all got in for like 15 bucks, and got free food. Rain aside, it's a pretty good deal.

I can't even look at Behemoth. I would die if I ever went on it, and that's not an exaggeration, I'm serious.

Thanks for the tip! 8D

UGH seriously. I mean, technically I do have a job because they hired me but considering they haven't called me back since training (mid-May), I don't even know if I can still call it a job when I don't even get shifts. >__>"

Oooh, that's like the special I went on last year. Some sort of RBC special that gave us $20 tickets or something.
