On the bus, a man paused before me to smile, before going to find his place to sit. One time, I was living in Verdun and had no money. So Christmas rolls around, and because of lack of work at Sierra I have even less money, so I have dick-fuck-all money for Christmas presents. You may know what the Christmas doldrums are like. Anyway, my mom and I work out this agreement: I do a random act of kindness once a week every week for a year, and tell her every week what that act was, and thats my gift to her.

It was good.

Watch the movie "Pay it Forward".
It's the ideal I work off of, but never ask of people.
Or maybe he just knew that you were my Superman this week.
