My mother has 2 single-bed mattresses to give away, and might also have some lamps. The mats have to be gone by this weekend, or they're headed for the Great Single-Bed in the Sky.

That's an interesting choice of words.
Most notably the "let" one.
It's her hair, so she chooses what she would like to do with it.
I fail to see at which point I aparantly became involved in that process.
