So it wasn't just the fan belt. Apparently it is the fan belt, the water pump and the septentine tension rod. Luckily, the water pump and the rod and covered under my warrantee which ends in less than 200 miles ( Read more... )

This morning I took my car to a local mechanic to get the fan belt changed. They told me they open the shop at 8am, and I should come in then if I want to get in and out quickly. Tonight was awesome. There was a lot of laughing -- there was some crying from laughing so hard, and a little crying just 'cause. There was singing and dancing -- to the point that people in the booths around us were turning around to get a better view.
