I'm glad you got a room for San Diego. I have a couple of friends who are still looking and hoping they will open up in May or June.

Yeah, there are some open according to the comic-con website. Sort of wish I'd gotten one in the city, but they were either in Coronado or Terminal Island, and more than I wanted to pay.

If they want to do budget cuts, they need to start cutting the grossly inflated salaries of these big-shots. Teachers are so damn important - dare I say more important than the ass who got the raise!

Sorry ... it's a ranty subject for me, too. They did budget cuts for education here in South Dakota recently. I sometimes wish the teachers would stand up for what's right and strike.

I miss San Diego, but the convention has become too big for itself. Maybe next year Mica and I can plan a vacation to California just to see friends and skip the convention thing ... *Shrugs*
