Well, after a lot of research, talking with the radiologist again, and soul-searching, I decided to go ahead with radiation. I convinced my doctor to lower the strength of the armpit rads to 20 gy, but I'm still doing 30 gy on the neck. That mask process does sound uncomfortable,though!O.oGlad it's over and done with!

I saw some of the masks and things in the radio room when I was getting mine, they looked interesting if a bit creepy!
I was wondering if you'd get tattooed. Wear them with pride, they are your scars of battle ^_^
I've got six, three down one side, two down the middle and one on the other... I think... it's been a while and I couldn't be bothered checking. See, you do forget, lol. One in the middle is right up between my collar bones, and still, no one ever notices it unless you point it out.
I also found, at least in my experience, the staff in radio are WAY nicer and friendlier, happier than the chemo nurses. I guess it's easier for them too, which is why they can be, but it makes it easier for you as well.
