I've been thinking about my story The Knight who Sees a lot lately.  I've been blocked since July because the characters and story ended up developing differently than I originally intended.  Not that I don't like what I've done so far, it was just different than I expected.  About a week ago, I finally had a breakthrough and I'm pretty sure I know

Thats exactly how my writing goes.
I have a vague idea of the path it will take, but generally it just goes off on its own and I usually let it.
