A Fight Breaks Out at the Used Book Sale

So our church used book sale, which I'm largely coordinating, started today.  I've had complaints from members about 1) the fact that I chose to do the sale in the social hall rather than the religious education (RE) building because it interferes with coffee hour (my reasons:  it's larger, it interferes less with RE, and members can shop while ( Read more... )

Sorry to be confusing. You can buy a little scanner and attach it to your PDA. Then you scan the bar code and it reads in the ISBN. Then on your PDA you have a database that you've downloaded from Amazon, and it tells you how many of the books are available, as demonstrated in this very boring video:

I fail to see the problem. She paid for the books, yes?

It sounds to me like a case of "She just grabbed the book I wanted! I didn't actually see it happen, but I just know it!"

Yes, I think you've got it there. It's like it was a race for her, and the other woman had unfair technology that the Olympic judges should've outlawed. But we didn't advertise it as a race.
