PC-driven plot

It has come to my attention that a number of PCs playing in the NH-002-D Requiem game are lacking for things to do. As the player of the Prince in said Domain's Requiem Venue, I have some ability to potentially generate plot for you, if you are one of the aforementioned players. What I need from you, then, is as follows:

1). Your character's name. ( Read more... )

It sounds like Ki's skillset is primarily tailored toward being a spy. What sort of spying, in particular, interests you ("overhearing" things, intrusion and retrieval, etc.?) Are you looking to have Ki operating as a free agent (information broker type) or someone specifically attached to a court (even if not openly?)

I keep coming back to the courier thing, but I'm trying to think of some angle to make it work. Trusting another Kindred to carry sensitive information is foolish if either the sender of a message, or the receiver, doesn't have 100% faith in said Kindred's trustworthiness.

Being able to shut down an inconvenient frenzy is good. Causing people to frenzy is a little less useful to Cynric (he's not the, "Make you frenzy in court to make you look bad," sort of Kindred.)

Also, if I'm remembering correctly, you are going to be attending Connecticon this weekend? If so, Cynric definitely has immediate work for Ki. He needs to know if there are any unrecognized Kindred within the territory he claims. (As in, "Any new players ( ... )

Spying is good, but she's also good at manipulating people, especially people with certain vices (ahemwrathcoughahem). This could be useful for getting inconvenient people discredited, or getting your enemies in trouble with someone else. Great way to eliminate threats without your hands getting dirty ( ... )

I don't think Gerhardt would really be interested in any work with Cynric, unless you need some crafting done of course. For the most part Gerhardt is working towards humanity 8 and avoids the moral degeneration Cynric spreads.

I can't really make many of your games anymore unless they are the same weekend as the third Friday (Providence Requiem).

1). Your character's name.

Evelyn Sturdevant, Elder Dragon.

2). Your character's skills.

Academics and Occult. Observation. Insight. Comprehension and understanding. The ability to stay off people's radar even when I don't want to be...

Oh, yes... And the ability to infuriate Cynric regularly. ;P

3). What kind of plot you, as a player, would like.

To become Cynric's Senesch-... Oh, wait... Nevermind. Doing that.

To crush my enemies, see them driven-... Nope. That's wrong too.

In all seriousness, I'd like to work with you on more PC-driven plots... For others, for ourselves (read: personal PC development, not our own "spechul" plots), etc. Perhaps more Dragon stuff (to tie in with the ideas we've had and just not acted on yet)?

I know that's nebulous and not what you wanted, but it's about as specific as I can get outside of actually talking and comparing notes with you.

4). What kind of timeframe you're looking for.Anywhere from immediate to the end of the chronicle. I prefer the "slow burn" plots to the "kill it NOW" ( ... )

I'm not part of the Domain, but I wanted to send a poke as I do with anyone that I'd like to add.

Julie, player of Aurora.

So, this has nothing to do with your post. Well, it sort of does. I'd like to make a tie and see about roleplaying with you. I've heard many good things. Many, many good things.

Drop me an email at miaaingeal@gmail.com or let me know where to email you?

Oh, and I've added you. :)
