He's a Fighter!
So, the latest on Doyle -- he had a good night! The vet said that he didn't vomit last night or today, and he's looking and acting a lot brighter today. And he ate during the night, a little this morning and was chowing down when she checked in on him before she gave me a ring. This is good. The vet is going to talk with the Oncologist and hopefully Doyle will be getting his Vincristine shot this afternoon and they'll wean him off of the IV fluids so he can COME HOME! More positive notes: they performed another ultrasound yesterday to see if his intestines were blocked -- they aren't -- and they could see that the tumors have already shrunk!

Interesting side note on Vincristine: it's extracted from the Vinca rosea plant. I have a small pot of these cute flowers sitting on my plant shelf in my living room window.
