It's interesting that you young folks, yes you are young, are so upset about MJ's death. It's weird because I don't really share your feelings. I am going to turn 48 this summer, so I was there, when MJ first came on the scene with his brothers. I may still have a Jackson 5 album ( yes vinyl) somewhere. Now, don't make me out to be a meany. I was shocked, afterall, 50 is very young. And yes, he is the King of Pop. But for some reason I felt more saddened by Farrah Fawcett's death. I can't tell you why, I just do.
I miss vinyl I use to try and scratch on them when I was younger. My dad wasn't so happy about that. lol
I was sad as well for Farrah dying because she was an awesome actress and she just had such a touch battle with cancer and my heart weeped for her.
I think the thing with MJ was that he was EVERYWHERE from day 1 of my birth till now so it's like kidna losing a family memember. I litterally grew up watching him and it's kinda like very sad for me. I dont know how to explain it.
Lots of folks are upset. I'm not really upset, just shocked because he wasn't old. It hits home when someone close to your age just drops dead. If I wasn't paranoid about my health before, I am now.
