I don't know where to check that sort of thing specifically, but Credo is the mobile arm of Working Assets, the phone company that's been supporting socially responsible causes since 1985. They're legit, and the service is good, and the price is good -- that's the plan Gerri and I are on. We love our phones, and the Credo people have been great.

Now, that doesn't mean their every claim of corporate wrongdoing is guaranteed to be unbiased and 100% accurate, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying, they're not some fly-by-night scam trying to take advantage of your liberal heart. They actually do support the causes they claim to support.

I don't know about a specific site, but you'll find various articles if you google things like "at&t political practices", "at&t criticism", "at&t exposed". If there's any particular issue you're worried about, google that: "at&t abortion", for example.

The other thing you could do is write back to Credo and ask for reference links so you can check their facts.
