My dog was hit by a car friday. Both girls ran off about 3:30 and i found her about 7:30 and it had just happened. I blame myself for letting them out and not supervising them. I was so mad because when i came home they had gotten in the trash and made a HUGE mess. We searched for them, driving around for 2 hrs but i had to go pick up the boys. I ( Read more... )

i'm really really sorry.

i would tell you not to blame yourself, but you will anyways.

and unless this is little R, the dog-bit one, you tell R to shut the fuck up!! they're his dogs too! he coulda been out there with them just as easy as you.

there's no blame to be placed here. accidents happen. sometimes they're terrible accidents, but accidents nonetheless.

i'm so sorry. grieve well and truly and try and move on. i'm not kidding about the STFU stuff tho.

I am so sorry sweetie. It is never easy to lose one of them no matter how it happens but it is so much worse when we feel like we could have prevented it. I hope you find a friend to comfort you there if R is not going to do it. Big hugs from here. You've had it rough lately and I wish you'd come back up here. I can't help but thinking that it is not a good place for you.
