U.S. fans of the BBC Sherlock -- heads up!

PBS is running the three stories from series one on consecutive Sunday nights on Masterpiece Mystery. Tonight was A Study in Pink, with the other two to follow on October 31 and November 7.

This was the first I'd seen of Sherlock, and I thought it was excellent. The leads are great, and the modern update made it the best sort of adaptation --

Sherlock's pretty splendid. I dig on the update. There needs to be more, of course. :)

Right? :) I really liked it too. I'm a little disappointed there were only 3 episodes, but I kind of feel like the 90 minute format makes up for that. It gives you some extra time and it can make the stories feel a little more complete.

I hope you like the next two episodes as well.

It's great isn't it. Wait until the last part, I loved that and the first part the most.

It's been picked up by the BBC, so there should be three more new epi's next season too.

Fantastic show, fun, excellent writing and a great update on the characters too.

I had downloaded it at the time and really loved it. even if I haven't seen the third part yet, oops. I must get on that!
