Up, up and away

The petrol prices at the supermarket fuel station nearest to where I live seem to be going up daily at the moment. On Monday it was 101.9p per litre for basic unleaded. Yesterday morning on the way to work I noticed it had gone up to 102.9p. And this morning it was 103.9p per litre*. Hope it doesn't continue that trend ( Read more... )

Oh my goodness, that's harsh. I think ours is hovering around $3 a gallon right now - your gallons are a little bigger than ours, but still!

7.95 dollar / US gallon in Germany.

1 liter = 0.264172052 US gallons and 1.40 Euros = 2.10098 U.S. dollars according to Google.

Prices are so different in the US...

I haven't driven past a gas station the past few days, but I did notice on Mon that prices had risen about 8 cents/gallon (approx 2c/litre) since last week. I wish I understood what made the market so volatile.
