oh yeah. totally forgot to mention that on my way home, the car ahead of me kicked up a piece of tire from the road... i could see it flying through the air toward my car at about windshield height. i was pretty convinced i was going to die. but i didn't, in case you were wondering.

okay. off to the couch now.

I had that happen with a piece of asphalt, which fortunately only left a dent in the windshield right in front of my face. It was knocked up by a big truck. This happened on the little bridge where I-35 crosses the Mississippi at downtown Minneapolis.

As a random sidenote, not to be insensitive or anything, but it reminded me of the scene from The Sweetest Thing.... Do you know what I'm talking about?
